My Hippeastrum 'Yellow Garden' is in bloom now and I tried pollinating with pollen I had stored in the freezer. Two days later and that flower is still not fading. Should I conclude that the pollination attempt failed? It seems like the flower should have started fading within a few hours if the pollination attempt was successful, no?
