That is fancier than I had imagined! Thanks for all your info. I’ll check out the kits. When a rocket scientist says something is easy, I have to take it with a grain of salt! Actually mine was the first lean-to unit they made in the metal design because I was replacing an earlier redwood and glass and needed a lean-to to go on the same footer. It went in perfectly and for a while they had photos of my house on their web site. All in all it's a pretty slick product and you don't need to be a rocket scientist to put the kit together. (Full disclosure: I actually am a rocket scientist, or was at one time anyway). You can get any length in multiples of 4' and width in multiples of 3'. > > https://sbgreenhouse.com/greenhouse-kits/… > > > The base is a poured concrete footer with a single course of concrete block, topped with PT 2 X 8 planks and vinyl trim. Heat is a vent-free wall-mounted heater attached to the brick wall of the house. Note that you can only get away with vent-free if you're on natural gas - on LP there are traces of ethylene produced that are very damaging to orchids and many other things. > > I'll try to post a photo or two in the next few days. > > Bob > > > _______________________________________________ > pbs mailing list > pbs@lists.pacificbulbsociety.net > http://lists.pacificbulbsociety.net/cgi-bin/… > Unsubscribe: <mailto:pbs-unsubscribe@lists.pacificbulbsociety.net> _______________________________________________ pbs mailing list pbs@lists.pacificbulbsociety.net http://lists.pacificbulbsociety.net/cgi-bin/… Unsubscribe: <mailto:pbs-unsubscribe@lists.pacificbulbsociety.net>
