Thank you everyone for all the great information about greenhouses! It sounds like most people are using their greenhouses to keep their plants warmer in the winter time. I have a different problem. I don’t have much trouble keeping my bulbs warm and dry in the winter but in the summer it gets so hot and dry that it becomes a problem. We commonly have sustained periods of 100° or higher with very low humidity. I would like to design my new greenhouse with an evaporative cooler that would help keep temperatures down and humidity up in the summertime. Does anyone have any experience with greenhouses designed to maximize summer cooling? Chad in Elverta CA Sent from my iPhone Chad L.
