I am saddened to hear this. I always appreciated Jim's knowledge and enthusiasm through his posts, especially his remarks after his signature. Please send my condolences to his family. The leader of another group I belong to wrote the following: Jim went into the hospital this late fall with diabetic complications, and after the hospital went to rehab. Reading between the lines, he got COVID in rehab. He died yesterday of COVID at Shady Grove hospital. Because of COVID, he’s being cremated. There will be a service, MUCH later. His sister, Maxine, will keep the ashes and there will be burial with Wayne in Virginia, when it’s safe. Maxine will keep us posted, but she said, “it’ll be a long time.” I personally relied on him for knowledge and expertise, which he shared with infinite generosity.
