We have a board of Moderators and two of them are computer science Profs. at Columbia University. We moved our group which has about 1300 members over to Groups.io. We were able to transfer all the archives and members info over. There are different levels of service available some at a cost. I suspect a separate E-mail list could be implemented under the current PBS site, but who would do it? It would probably take just as much work as the current list. Again, speaking only for myself, it appears to me the decision has been made the PBS discussion list will be a generalist discussion list.
