Louise Parsons gave me mine also. I'm so glad she did because even these slow to reproduce cultivars are important to preserve. I have a recent book on snowdrops and am thinking I'll sacrifice a bulb to try some new reproductive methods. Has anyone tried methods other than seed (Theresa Stone has not so far produced any.) and division - maybe bulb scaling or similar? I've scaled lilies with pretty good success so I'm curious if there's one method that works best for Galanthus. Another note - I lived in the northern Willamette Valley at the time I was given this snowdrop and through all the moves, it has always bloomed in mid- to late December or early January. So I've moved from USDA Zone 7 to 9b(?) with little difference in bloom time. Robin Hansen Let it snow, even if it is a pain! _______________________________________________ pbs mailing list pbs@lists.pacificbulbsociety.net http://lists.pacificbulbsociety.net/cgi-bin/… Unsubscribe: <mailto:pbs-unsubscribe@lists.pacificbulbsociety.net>
