Hello Everyone! This is my first time posting so your suggestions are most welcome. Jane, I planted some Rhodophiala under an evergreen some years back and they flower here in Zone 10a Gulf coast around late July. We have rain almost daily from July to November and temps in low 90's, so they seem to handle lots of moisture well as long as the drainage is good. A light dusting of an organic fertilizer in spring is all the care I give them. I just planted the "Red Baron" cultivar this spring but it has yet to bloom.
