A reminder to all of the book launch, long awaited of Rod and Rachel Saunder's Gladiolus book, on Aug. 26. John Manning who wrote Guide to Fynbos of South Africa will be speaking as well as Dr. Fiona Ross. In the meantime, while we don't have prices yet, PBS will be doing a group order of the book, just as we did for Amaryllis. Arnold Trachtenberg, PBS Treasurer, will announce when he is ready to receive orders and the procedures involved. We will let you know the cost as soon as we know. Right now, I have a very small, fragrant, pure white glad - clearly misnamed - that I received from PBS a few years ago. It didn't set seed but I'm taking particular care in hopes the new book can help identify it!
