On a Mac what I’ve been doing is double clicking the PDF file, which opens the labels in Preview. Then I click on the Markup button. Select the outline box selector item (on the far left of the options). I outline just the label I plan to use. Under the Edit menu, select Copy (or press command-C, or ⌘+C). Under the File menu, select 'New from Clipboard’ (or command-N, or ⌘+N). This opens up a new window with just that label in it. I save this out to its own file with the Label # in its filename. I email this to the vendor. I keep my permit and label PDFs all in the same folder, so there is a record of which label #s I’ve used indicated in the filenames. --Lee Poulsen Pasadena, California, USA - USDA Zone 10a Latitude 34°N, Altitude 1150 ft/350 m > On Aug 31, 2021, at 7:36 AM, R Hansen via pbs <pbs@lists.pacificbulbsociety.net> wrote: > > Regarding the fact ApHIS labels are printed 4 to a sheet. I just do one of two things. I cut out the appropriate label and mail or I cut out and scan that label and email, then put a cross on that label that was scanned so I don't reuse, although, having accidentally reused the same label before I realized they were numbered, no one noticed the duplication! _______________________________________________ pbs mailing list pbs@lists.pacificbulbsociety.net http://lists.pacificbulbsociety.net/cgi-bin/… Unsubscribe: <mailto:pbs-unsubscribe@lists.pacificbulbsociety.net>
