Mike, I have one mature Pamianthe yielded 2 offsets years ago, and did not stop the mother plant growth. However the plant has stop flower, so I remove them and hope the plant will flower again. Currently I have total 12 plants plus 9 seedlings. All grown from seeds. One plant did give me two seed pods last year. I keep all mature plants out door all year round with some shade. I noticed them about 2 weeks ago. So they have added some size. Mine get a little morning sun on days the marine layer allows but bright shade the rest of the time. Yes they are great companions to my orchids also.
