Many years ago an Australian chap called Bruce Knight in NSW didn’t believe that the so-caled “Amargia” hybrids were the result of Amaryllis x Brunsvigia as he repeated the crosses to get quite different looking plants. He conducted many crosses and decided that the original crosses were probably Amaryllis x Cybistetes longifolia. Has anyone tried to re-create these?
