Many years ago an Australian chap called Bruce Knight in NSW didn’t believe that the so-caled “Amargia” hybrids were the result of Amaryllis x Brunsvigia as he repeated the crosses to get quite different looking plants. He conducted many crosses and decided that the original crosses were probably Amaryllis x Cybistetes longifolia. Has anyone tried to re-create these? cheers fermi Redesdale, Central Victoria, Australia On 9/6/2020 Ken wrote: > hybrids (with Brunsvigia) generally bloomed later than the species, > although annual weather variances can affect bloom time as well. _______________________________________________ pbs mailing list pbs@lists.pacificbulbsociety.net http://lists.pacificbulbsociety.net/cgi-bin/…
