Paramongaia weberbaueri germination

I have managed to obtain seeds of what has to be the winter
growing/flowering form of this species, as they have only recently set seed
and we are just coming out of winter here in Australia. I understand it is
not always as clear as night and day in terms of winter or summer growing
forms, presuming it is to some extent governed by the climate where they
are grown. This is abundantly evident here in the southern hemisphere
where growers in Australia's tropical north (mild/warm/dry winter) and in
New Zealand (cold/wet winter) have both recently flowered this species
during the southern hemisphere winter.

So should the seeds be sown now or wait until the end of the forthcoming
summer? If so, how to store? It seems to me that if the parent plants
are now heading into dormancy after flowering and setting seed, then now
would NOT be an appropriate time for germination if the plants were growing
in their natural environment. What is the natural weather cycle in their
natural habitat for this "winter growing" form of the species, given the
variability explained above for cultivated plants? I don't imagine the
seeds to be the type of seed, having a papery wing, to be the type to lay
dormant in the soil for 6 months, but perhaps they are.
