Allium flavum varieties

Allium flavum subsp. tauricum is popular for its various flower colors.
Mark McDonough, a great Allium enthusiast, wrote about it in the NARGS
journal, and I obtained seed from their exchange and now have a nicely
varied group of them. I don't know if the separate colors are ever
offered commercially. It seems to be a matter of luck what you get from
a batch of seed. The colors include various shades of yellow and
yellowish-pink ("peach"). I haven't seen any that are actually a bright
pink. This is a small plant (about 15-20 cm tall in flower) and flowers
in late spring to early summer, then goes dormant.
