Why do we still have to bother with this rubbish? Let’s make it out of the 20th century. I’ll donate $5k if get off this ridiculous platform and use something more accessible to all. What Martin proposes won't work in my email program. Every message I receive has the list address in the To field and in the CC field the email address of the sender. My two choices are reply and reply list. If I hit reply the message goes sender <pbs@lists.pacificbulbsociety.net> and if I hit reply to the list it goes pbs@lists.pacificbulbsociety.net . I was fooled a couple of times when I hit reply thinking I was replying privately since it has the person's name listed, but after it was <pbs@lists.pacificbulbsociety.net> so it was instead going to the list. Either choice ends up the same. So what I have to do is to copy the address in the CC heading. Then when I hit reply, I have to delete what is automatically in the To field and paste instead the address I copied from the CC field in the original email in the To field. Then it will go directly to that person. > > You might want to experiment (without sending) Martin's solution and mine just to see what works for you.
