Urginea maritima - part 1

 Where is it growing?  Do they get it to bloom every year?  Mine bloom sporadically, but I have five, so the odds of getting a bloom are pretty good, given that I'm not in the Mojave desert!

 Here are some pictures of our friend's sea squill.  This one has been in the ground about 15 years, with full sun from mid- to late morning on.  It was originally one bulb.
Pic 64 - the bulb bifurcated some years ago, the growing points between the top and bottom bulbs are now well over a foot apart
Pic 69 - close up of the top bulb from pic 64, with a basal offset; the main shoot is about 4 inches in diameter
