Steps to identify easily: 1. Go go inaturalist.org 2. Click explore 3. Type Gesner under "Species" until the family Gesneria comes up. Select that. 4. Type Costa Rica in location (you could type Quepos but that might be too tight a search) 5. Review photos of gesneria near the location in question. You can click on each identification and it will show you what was observed at that site.
