I agree, and I would be glad to do a short program on Eucomis. One sticking point is that I've been in Zoom meetings where the moderator (host) runs a PowerPoint and everyone can see it, but remote participants can't do the same. The host was using a university Zoom account, which makes all that dashboard available, but if a mere civilian like myself wanted to be the host, I'd need to establish an account in my own right. That's probably not free, but it might be free for the first few uses. I've felt no need to explore the matter, but perhaps the society can establish an institutional account and send log in credentials to a member who wants to be a host for a particular session. Again, I don't claim to understand Zoom very well, and I'm guessing many other members are in the same boat, judging by how many have problems with our own email thread sometimes. But if someone were willing to take the lead and make it as user-friendly as possible, it could be a great tool. A member could run a video tour of his/her garden, narrating it along the way, like a Youtube clip but with the ability for others to ask questions in more or less real time. It's also possible to save the entire session so others can view later, which is helpful in dealing with time zones!
