I agree with Kipp. Here in the Seattle area Dierama are fairly commonly grown. They are surprisingly cold tolerant when happy (handling low temps in the upper teens for for days in a row when planted in the ground) but they don’t like being soggy and they want full sun and good air movement and most stay green throughout the winter. I killed some in pots in a greenhouse over the winter one year, I think from a combination of overwatering and not enough light. Now I keep them against the sunny side of the greenhouse and don’t water them much at all, and they seem to be fine with that.
