It will help to know that Iris tuberosa is formerly (and still widely, among growers) known as Hermodactylus tuberosus. I don't have 'Blue Jade', but long ago I acquired a couple of color forms from Michael Salmon's Monocot Nursery in England. I still have one, which does have a somewhat blue tint. This plant is easily grown in temperate-climate gardens and does well outdoors here in western Oregon, including in turf. It has numerous, horizontally spreading tubers and is an interesting, though not showy, addition to a naturalistic planting. The most common color forms are green-and-blackish.
