Urginea maritima - part 2

Hello Luc,
I grow it in Berlin Germany and I definitely learned the hard way that it needs protection in winter. Anything below -3 C will not kill it, but it will severely damage the leaves, which means no blooms the following year.
Also, full sun all the time. Whenever it gets colder, I bring it inside on the Southern windowsill and grow it under lights, at about +15 C.
About the availability, I happen to have seen it in a few gardening centers here. I am not sure if they still have it, but I can go have a look if you want? The bulbs were not expensive and there were big, with good shots too.
Cheers,Vlad
7b, Berlin (Germany), finally some sun after 8 days with drizzle.

 Hi all,

Did anybody tried to grow Urginea maritima outdoor in wet NW Uk
(Manchester and whereabouts)...

If yes what was the source of the bulbs?

Thanks for any input...

Luc
