I second that. I don't do any social media and don't plan to start now. The care and feeding of these things takes a lot of time and effort and our volunteers are already doing enough for us. More than enough actually. I agree that in most cases if the subject line is done right, we can blow off the messages that don't interest us. Many of us have particular special interests and it's easy enough to screen for the truly useful postings if the subject line is done right. Perhaps it would also be useful to ask posters to add "Photo" to the subject line if photos are attached. As a relative rookie, I might well open these because after I see really cool pics I might develop an interest in something I hadn't previously thought about. It has certainly happened already!
