I agree, an excellent article full of practical (sometimes painful) experience with what can go wrong with the precious bulbs we've nurtured over years and now must fend for themselves in the "wild" (the open garden). As someone who was a beginner just a few years ago, but now have tried a few things that work and many more that don't when planting out bulbs in the garden, I totally agree that we need articles like this that can help us benefit more from each other's hard-earned experience.
