Interestingly, I only planted my F striata seeds about two weeks ago. I noticed today one has germinated already. Seeds are in 4-inch pots, outside, mostly shaded, on a hardware cloth bench. One or two rounds of rain, nighttime temps typically in low 40s, but one cold spell into the mid-30s. Santa Cruz, zone 9.
