Moving Convallaria majalis/Lily of the valley

Hi Jane, I live in eastern PA and regularly move convallaria in bloom. Provided you water them after transplant and give them a few more waterings in the next weeks, they don’t miss a beat. They are rather unwieldy to replant if they aren’t moved in a clump.  
The only time I have lost convallaria when moving them is when I’ve left them too long (unplanted) without water.
