Nhu and all, I think that if someone sorted through the list of bulbous genera without ICRAs there are probably a few more than JUST Zephyranthes. Perhaps PBS could muster up some one or from an allied organization to take on a modern cultivar registrations for these ‘orphan’ bulbs that would not only incude offical descriptions of cvs, but how they differ from other, similar cvs and clear color pix of each cv. The ICRA authority is usually very helpful in guiding the establishment of new registrars. It is not that much more difficult or detailed than the existig treasure trove of PBS image files that many people rely on for current info. Best Jim W. It seems that as a society this would be appropriate. Being a registrar is not a lot of work, but not little either. There has to be a point person who keeps track of all the entries that come in, make sure that they different from previous entries, and provides periodic reports. It would be interesting for someone who is organized and is interested in hybrids. Do we have any volunteers? Ina Crossley, I'm looking your way!
