Do PBS list members have experience with this PNW native bulb? Far Reaches Farm is now offering a variety of selections with a range of colors. They go dormant in summer, what I’m wondering about is how they might survive cold wet winters, a la the PNW Coast.

Flowering now in my garden: A rogue, semi-invasive South African Watsonii that I’m trying to weed out, a few Cyclamen purpureum flowers (this plant just never quits flowering); a few Cyclamen coum, and Narcissus Grand Soleil d’Or, forced bulbs rescued years ago and planted in a deep pot, kept moist in summer. Nicely cheery for midwinter. Plus a rose (Aloha) that always has one or two flowers midwinter.

Cheers,
Kathleen
