I don’t know what happened, but after trying to grow Leontochir (which I’ve heard is being lumped in with Bomarea, I think?) from both seeds and bulbs, I’ve had several pots come back each year for several years now, and this year they’re blooming. And not just one pot of them. It’s so exciting. I’ll try to attach pictures and see if it works. One is a nice rich red, while the others are more orangey. Last year on the native Chilean wildflower Facebook group, one of the members posted photos from the desert of a brilliant yellow-flowered plant. I didn’t know there was a variety in their color. Anyway, it is cool to finally see it in the flesh (in my own backyard). --Lee Poulsen Pasadena, California, USA - USDA Zone 10a Latitude 34°N, Altitude 1150 ft/350 m _______________________________________________ pbs mailing list pbs@lists.pacificbulbsociety.net http://lists.pacificbulbsociety.net/cgi-bin/…
