Tissue culturing bulbs

Hi Nikki
I do TC for lilies and mushrooms - and there are several places on the lily
as well as the mushrooms where tissue can be collected for TC cloning. I
know the process is the same, but the location of the collected tissue may
be different. One of the location for lilies is the bottom of the flower
where it connects to the stem, before it opens to bloom - and I believe the
albucas would work as well selecting tissue from that location.

I haven't done it, but I can maybe do it this summer when my albucas will
bloom. I have a T. tortillis I can try it on.
May be a little too late for your needs.

Regards,
Luminita
