That's a really interesting flower. To my non-expert eye, it certainly holds itself like a giant Zephyranthes. In my garden, Z. atamasco is more of an early spring-growing plant, rather than a winter-growing plant. Its natural growth cycle isn't too far off a lot of my Hippeastrums which tend to go dormant when it gets hot in mid summer.
