Hi Lee, Congratulations on that success! When I tried T. phillippiana, I couldn't get it re-emerging from it's first dormancy and learned from the list that others had the same problem. Any hints on what your climate does exactly when they reemerge? Am 29.04.2019 um 07:33 schrieb Lee Poulsen: > Had another first bloom, Tigridia phillippiana, native to Chile. Interesting flower. It does look somewhat like the flower listed on the wiki as “Tigridia unknown South-American species from Lima”. Not sure if it was worth waiting 6 years to see from seed. But since it doesn’t really require any special care in my climate, it just grew on its own and finally flowered. Each flower lasts a day. > > --Lee Poulsen > Pasadena, California, USA - USDA Zone 10a > Latitude 34°N, Altitude 1150 ft/350 m > > > > > _______________________________________________ > pbs mailing list > pbs@lists.pacificbulbsociety.net > http://lists.pacificbulbsociety.net/cgi-bin/… -- Martin ---------------------------------------------- Southern Germany Likely zone 7a _______________________________________________ pbs mailing list pbs@lists.pacificbulbsociety.net http://lists.pacificbulbsociety.net/cgi-bin/…
