I got the message so it PBS is working. Our yard is in peak bloom, there is no lawn anymore so drifts of Papaver rhoeas, Consolida ajacis (single flowered which seem to be hard to find compared to seed of doubles), Agrostemma, and a trio of purple S African senecios among other annuals and perennials are looking splendid. For bulbs there is Ornithogalum magnum raising its spires above the senecios, and the Crinum bulbispermums are all blooming now, quite a show this year, many of my seed grown bulbs are flowering for the first time in addition to others that reached flowering size last year. Many have multiple spikes and I will be planting more young ones from various sources. Flowering here (NW England) at the moment, Cyrtanthus brachyscyphus, Dichelostemma congestum. There are buds on chocolate cosmos (Cosmos atrosanguineus) has buds on it. -- David Pilling http://www.davidpilling.com/ _______________________________________________ pbs mailing list pbs@mailman1.ibiblio.org http://pacificbulbsociety.org/list.php http://pacificbulbsociety.org/pbswiki/ _______________________________________________ pbs mailing list pbs@mailman1.ibiblio.org http://pacificbulbsociety.org/list.php http://pacificbulbsociety.org/pbswiki/
