Germinating bulblets of Pyrolirion

You do not mention which particular Pyrolirion you are growing. I grow
Pyrolirion arvense. These are not bulbs which like moisture, coming
from a dry area.

I grow them, even the smallest bulblets, in a mix of 1/2 pumice. 1/2
fine soil mix (in my case seed-raising mix which can also be used as
potting mix) and some slow release fertiliser, in a container in full
sun. This is in New Zealand where the sun is probably not as hot as in
the tropics. They are ever green.

Maybe they are getting to much water. The thing is I prefer they develop the bulb. Also, since when I have to start to apply fertilizer on them? Being an environmentalist I rather use organic ones, so probably seaweed extract of some of the sort.
