Hi Makiko, I’ll bet if you had a shady enough spot and were willing to do something to raise the humidity around the plants that you could grow it. It’s actually a pretty easy plant.

I have no doubt that ayou'd get a lot more production by growing it in a stream, but I don’t need that much. I like growing it because it’s not all that common, and it has pretty leaves. And, of course, the flavor.
