SX5

Jude, you only ordered 1 item and it was, unfortunately, in high demand.
I believe this is the first time I've had a requester not get anything
they ordered. I did actually get a couple more SX5 orders just today, I
see, so if there's something else on the list you wanted, let me know.
(By the way, you did omit your mailing address in your order.)

Paul, your order is coming. You got everything you ordered.

Although the circumstances over the last few weeks would have made it
rather difficult for me to reply to or even read SX5 related emails in
any case, I really am trying to avoid individual email replies. I'm
sorry that my "radio silent" approach worries people. I'm not being
intentionally rude, just trying to keep my head above water. Perhaps, if
Dell doesn't summarily fire me before things ease up, I'll have the time
to consider more personal interaction on future SXes.

(SX5 - 735 packets were requested, 704 sent, before the orders that
arrived today.)

[Jane, we've worked on the packaging side of the NARGS exchange for many
years now, and I concur with your every comment. Nothing dampens the
enthusiasm like opening a donor packet and finding a huge wad of
Clematis or composite fluff, most of which isn't seed and most of what
is clearly not viable. You can tell seedex volunteers - at a NARGS
conference one year, Cathy and I were introduced to a lady who peered at
our name tags and made only one comment - "Ah! Marak - very clean seed."
We didn't fully appreciate the compliment until we started packaging.]

Steve
