In Southeast Michigan Crocus laevigatus is in bloom outside in a open sand bed and Adonis amurensis is showing yellow buds at soil level and Galanthus reginae-olgae has been blooming for a few weeks. Inside in the basement under lights, Stenomesson piercei, Phaedranassa dubia and phaedranassa sp. from the BX as seeds , several oxalis, and the red/yellow and orange lachenalia aloides var. quadricolor from the BX are in bloom. The Massonia seedlings started from the BX in spring 2013 are mostly finished blooming. The 8 tepaled Nothosocodum filipponea (syn. Ipheion sellowianum) from BX 237 are in bloom on the windowsill.
