For lovers of the big, hybrid, garden colchicums

I don't know what Jim has as "a substitute for Colchicum speciosum
'album'", but I am really missing the real C. speciosum 'Album', which
grew in my former garden. It didn't survive the move. I distributed it
in years past, and I was wondering if anyone who got it from me might
have a flourishing group by now, and be able to share a corm with me? I
have many colchicums that did survive and that I could send in exchange.

The only pure white Colchicum flowering here in the garden (as opposed
to the bulb house, where there are several small white ones) is
'Innocence', which used to be grown under the name "Colchicum byzantinum
album".
