Could one or more of folks conversant with lilies please comment on whether or not the image David Pilling posted for us under 'mystery bulbs' is L. Sargentiae? The image could then possibly take its place on the Wiki and people who might receive bulbils from the Exchange will be able to label them correctly. It was originally sold as L. brownii. Thanks, Cynthia Mueller, Central Texas

Just the other day I got into a desk drawer in which are stored some of my plant related papers from over forty years ago. Among these is an order I placed to Zephyr Gardens in July, 1972. I ordered these Tigridia: dugesii, mexicana, meleagris, passiflora, violacea, sp. "La Jolla". An earlier list showed ehrenbergii and vanhouttei. I don't recall what became of them - that was not a settled time in my life.
