My earlier response to this thread has not come through here, and I'm glad. I was wrong to suggest that it was simply a case of a gender change in the name due to a change in genus.From what I can see now, Orinthogalum juncifolium and Albuca juncifolia are not the same plant. Some Ornithogalum and Albuca have switched places, but maybe not those two. If so, there will continue to be an Ornitihogalum juncifolium and an Albuca juncifolia. Someone better acquainted with these plants needs to chime in.
