The historical rain in Southern California did not make its way north to where we live. There are a few Amaryllis belladonna showing here and there, but not a lot. I even have one shoot in my garden that I don't recall blooming for a long time, if ever, but there was a shrub that died in the drought that got bigger than I expected (a Leucospermum) and probably provided too much shade. Since Amaryllis belladonna can bloom here into September and even October, there is still time for others to make an appearance. Mary Sue
