I am currently growing Zephyranthes rosea. I believe it is the true plant. It looks nothing like Z. grandiflora or Z. Labuffarosea. It is a common plant is south Florida for edging beds. It's about 6" including flowers. The flowers are medium to small in size and a deep rose-pink color. It blooms in the Tampa area about August. According to Thad Howard (Bulbs For Warm Climates) it comes from the mountains in Cuba. It is a charmer and one of my favorite rainlilies. Lynn Makela Tampa, Zone 9b
