A book about Turkish bulbs, Field Guide to Wild Flowers of Turkey Vol 1 Bulbous Plants, by Yasemin Konuralp, came today. I thoroughly enjoyed the first scan through it of the photos and plant descriptions. As well as finding new Crocus, Colchicum, and Tulip species to long for, the author included several species of Gagea, which is a tiny and under appreciated (IMO) bulb. The diversity of orchids is amazing. This book was first mentioned by Ian Young in his bulb log, and it’s well worth getting. http://wildflowertours.com/wildflowers_of_turkey_b… Cheers, Kathleen
