I can vouch for Gethyllis seedlings from Dawie Human, Lifestyle Seeds, which converted to northern hemisphere growing by behaving as evergreen in shaded conditions. (They were very small, and priced accordingly). I also received bulbs of a Gethyllis Species from Camerom McMaster, which stayed dormant for 18 months, before growing well. They had flowerd in transit, and produced seed pods with good seed, a few months after arriving.
