North American species of Hymenocallis, according to Bulbs of North America by NARGS, are in a state of "taxonomic confusion", and possibly the Mexican and West Indian species are also. I suppose any of the many species would be able to grow in Australia. Brad's variegated one has been in Australia a long time. I've added Brad's photos to the Mystery Bulbs page of the wiki, and hope someone can identify it. http://pacificbulbsociety.org/pbswiki/index.php/… Diane Whitehead (not in Australia) Begin forwarded message: > > I am in Australia and have a variegated Hymenocallis, and I cannot decide if its caribaea or littoralis Do you know which one is more likely here ? > > I can send pics > > Kind regards Brad
