Dear PBSers, Another sign of spring, Allium perdulce is in full bloom. You nose might smell it before your eye sees it.The foliage is short, thin and more hair-like than grass-like with 2 or 3 leaves per bulbs. The bright rose-pink flowers are also tiny, but the sweet spicey smell out weighs them all. Delightful and fragrant. The pictures on the pbs wiki make it look big and husky - it’s not. worthy keeping a space for it, but easily obscured by ANY other plants. Sweet litle thing and early. Jim W.
