Now this gets interesting! Tony, after looking at your Lycoris page I see you list a 'Cleo Barwell' form and a 'Caroline Dorman' form, I happen to live in Shreveport so that may be the connection. Cleo Barnwell lived in Shreveport for a long time and Caroline Dorman's Briarwood is just south of Shreveport in Natchitoches Parish. So things got passed around apparently a long time ago. I think I better go back tomorrow and search the whole property to see if there are any more and take the camera. I have already checked and this lot is an adjudicated property so I won't feel too bad to dig them up, at least that's how I rationalize it- they belong to me too! I actually already do this if it is in adjudication, there are many old Camellias, figs etc in the older parts of town.
We also have the "Barnwell Art and Garden Center" on the riverfront which also is unfortunately in dire need of repair. Frank
