In response to Pamela Slate's question on July 26, Habranthus tubispathus seeds can be dried 5-6 days and then frozen at -20C (-4F) for long-term storage (1+ years). Also, Habranthus seems to have a bit of an after-ripening requirement, germinating best if first dried a couple of days. Zephyranthes is different, being ready to go immediately and even germinating in the opening capsule if the weather is rainy.
