My rather poor bulbs were sown three years ago. They grow slowly in too much shade along side seedling Haemanthus, Brunsvigia, Strumaria and a collection of Ceropegias. I grow all these in a 50/50 mix of soil and fine grit. The trays holding the pots are in my living room window. The Cyrtanthus spiralis are watered along with the rest when in leaf. Apart from waiting for the compost to dry between each watering they get no special care.
