Heaviest rain I ever remember was driving towards Las Vegas and it just poured, so bad that we all went like 30 or pulled off the freeway. On Monday, September 8, 2014 1:59 PM, Leo A. I had almost 4 inches / 10cm of rain in my rain gauge at 7 am. On my way to work I found all freeways and most major surface streets were shut due to standing water, and I was notified that the place I was to work today was not open due to their central computer system losing power. A person I know walked around the neighborhood and took a number of photos with a cheap mobile phone. Leo Martin Phoenix Arizona USA
