I've never seen blue fowered Urginea, Cynthia, but I've only seen them grown in California. It could be that there are blue fowered varieties in their native habitat - though if there were, I would think they would be grown in agriculture for cut flowers as well. They were brought to the US to be evaluated for use as a rat poison. The agriculture/horticulture use is incidental….
