Charles Crane grew these bulbs inside a greenhouse and found that they did
very well for him growing actively for about 11 months of the year,
including straight through winter. He let them rest (dry) for a month or
so during the hottest weather in summer. My advice would be to pot
immediately, place in a moderately warm spot with good light, and begin
watering carefully. When you get good leaf growth, water more and feed
regularly.

Enjoy your new rain lilies!

While I'm asking questions: I received some of the Habranthus tubispathus
and Zephyranthus smallii bulbs from the BX 355. What is the growing season
for these species? Should they be potted up and watered now or in Spring?
